Fabulous location on the lake with free access to Kayaks which we used to explore parts of the lake . We took the boat tour which was great value and informative. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food onsite was very tasty, good value and portion sizes.

Discover the combination of comfort, cleanliness, warmth and connection with Our glamping at ASANA Bacalar features a unique design with rigid Alpine-style tents measuring 7.2 square meters. These tents have been specially adapted to the Caribbean environment and are constructed using natural materials. Each tent is equipped with a comfortable double bed, charging connections, LED lighting, a fan, and offers a view of the lagoon. The bathrooms and showers are located outside the tents, providing an immersive nature experience. Additionally, the tents feature a table, mosquito netting, marine canvas fronts with zipper closures and locks. At ASANA Bacalar, we are delighted to offer a wide range of areas and services to our guests to ensure an unforgettable and comfortable stay. Here is a description of the areas and services that guests can access: Reception area: Our friendly and attentive reception is available to assist you during your stay. 1. Laguna de los Siete Colores: This is the main attraction of Bacalar, a beautiful lagoon with turquoise waters with seven different shades of blue. You can take a boat tour to explore it or simply relax on one of the beaches. 2. San Felipe Bacalar Fortress: it is an old colonial fortress built in the 18th century to protect the city from pirate attacks. Today, you can visit the museum inside the fortress to learn more about the history of Bacalar. 3. Cenote Azul: This freshwater cenote is one of the most popular in Bacalar. You can snorkel, swim or simply enjoy the crystal clear waters surrounded by tropical vegetation. 4. Manatee Sanctuary: a protected area where you can observe manatees in their natural habitat.
