Well worth to visit. Kotor old town 7 km far away from Vacanza apartments, dating to the 12th and 14th centuries, are listed as UNESCO Word Heritage Sites. Rare beauty and unforgettable view of Bay of Kotor from the top of the Fortress wich is reached by stone cliffs , is breathtaking. Perast Baroque town located 3 km from Vacanza apartments. The ancient sleepy, fishing town is an open air museum. The most beautiful buildings look like real palace as part of the natural landscape of the Boka Bay, reflecting its glorious past. Once there were 12 noble families living in the city who built baroque palaces and churches which Perast is proud of today. The specificity of Perast is that there are close to two islands which are not separable from the town as geographically and historically. One of them is OUR LADY OF THE ROCKS, or VIRGIN MARY ON THE CARP - the only island in the Adriatic , made by man not by nature. Risan, the oldest town in Boka 2 km away from Vacanza apartments . It dates from the 3rd century BC. It was the craft and trade center of the Illyrian state.
