The dinner and breakfast were both impressive. We also enjoyed the private and public hot-spring. The location of the hotel was near the train station, so we do not spend too much time to bring the heavy luggage to get to the hotel.

Boasting large hot spring baths both indoor and open-air, Yufuin Kotobuki Hananosho offers Japaense-style ryokan accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Yufuin Station. It features Japanese gardens and Mount Yufu views. Rooms are fitted with basic facilities like a flat-screen TV, a fridge and air conditioning. An electric kettle with tea bags is also provided. While staying at the Hananosho, guests can unwind in the public bathing area, which includes a sauna. Drinks vending machines are available on site, while luggage storage is offered free of charge. The hotel is a 15-minute walk to Yunotsubo Kaido where guests can stroll around. Lake Kinrin is a 20-minute walk away.
