The staff were excellent - accommodating, friendly and helpful. In spite of the language barrier (as we did not speak much Japanese) they did everything they could to help us organise baggage transfer to our next location by the shimanami transfer service and sorted it all out for us! Location was good approx a 5-7min walk from the train station and ferry departure port for Mukaishima. Hotel overlooking the harbour/sea which provided a lovely place for an evening stroll. Rooms were small but serviceable and good enough for us as we only had two large backpacks (anyone else with cabin sized luggages may have struggled as may not have had enough space to open suitcases in the room). Toiletries and towels were provided, free hot tea and coffee was available downstairs. Room was clean and a good temperature (10-20deg outdoors) without needing airconditioning or the heater in the room

Very convenient location to start the Shimanami Kaido Cycle Way. Beautiful view of the ocean. Room was very comfortable and I'd stay there again. Does have a free washing machine for use.

The location is beautiful, though marred slightly by the sights of cranes and construcion occupying half the lovely view outside the window. This is cheap, for such a lovely spot amongst all the best Onomichi sights. Easy to access, with friendly staff.

The room was great with a lovely view of the water. The room was exceptionally clean and had a separate shower which was fantastic and the first during our three week holiday. It was a small room expectedly however plenty of space for our suitcase and for two people to stay comfortably. Excellent security at the property and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Tea, coffee and amenities available in the lobby area. The hotel kindly stored our luggage and we returned for check in later in the day. I hope to visit this wonderful location and hotel again.

This hotel is well located, being in walking distance from the train station and ferries. One of the front desk staff was extremely helpful, even stepping away from the desk for a few moments to guide my wife to a nearby shop where she could buy some snacks for our upcoming train trip.
