The booking is for a private suite of 2 sleeping rooms plus a large dining area, separate private bathroom and separate washbasins and WCs. Gorgeous organic garden with seating in the shade. The total space is more than 70 Sq meters. Many places to rest, meditate, do yoga (equipment provided), or for work. We have unlimited, excellent, fast internet. We aim to provide our guests with the very best care, attention to detail, and surroundings that are truly beautiful and unique. As buddhists, we are able to provide some deeper insights into the spirituality of Mount Koya, into the shingon Buddhist and shinto faiths of Japan. We look forward to your visit on holy Koyasan.
DETAILS: (1) No children. (2) Rates are per person, per night. (3) Rooms are Japanese traditional TATAMI (rush matting) with futons. Double or single futons available. Our futons are luxurious, double-thickness, filled with pure wool and cotton. (4) Koyasan is a mountain at 850m above sea-level. Our weather is extreme and variable. No AC or TV. (5) We respectfully request: No kitchen access, food storage. There are many nearby restaurants and cafés offering good food at very reasonable prices. Two minutes from Daimon gate, and Daimon bus stop. Gorgeous vistas over misty mountain-tops and a beautiful sunset. Numerous hiking trails from Daimon gate, and many restaurants, bars, cafés just nearby.
