Traveler's Inn Asanebo offers simple but homely Japanese-style accommodation a 7-minute walk from Kawayu Onsen Train Station. Home-cooked meals are served and guided tours to Lake Mashu, Lake Kussharo, Shiretoko and other areas are available upon request at an additional charge. The property is completely non-smoking. WiFi access is offered on site. Mount Io is a 15-minute walk away from the inn. Mashu Lake Observatory and Kotan Onsen open-air bath can be reached within a 20-minute drive. Free on-site parking is provided. Guided tours around Lake Mashu, Lake Kussharo, Shiretoko and Akan Areas can be arranged. Guests at Traveler's Inn Asanebo sleep on a traditional tatami (woven-straw) floor in Japanese futon bedding, prepared in simple Japanese-style rooms. Rooms are heated, and shared toilets are available. For bathing, guests may use the public hot spring baths a 5-minute walk away, which is open until 20:00 (free tickets provided by the inn). The inn has a library of Japanese comics and a shared TV at the common area where guests can socialise with other guests. A coin launderette is available for use. Making use of local produce, Traveler's Inn Asanebo serves Japanese-style breakfast and dinner. A barbecue dinner is served at 18:30, and Japanese-style breakfast starts at 07:00 in the shared dining area. Guests can enjoy beer and sake offered for dinner. We can accommodate vegetarian meals to the extent possible, but we cannot accommodate vegan meals. Thank you for your understanding.

Hotel does not have a bathroom. Customers must use the chargeable public baths a 2-minute walk away, or go to one of the public hot-spring baths at Kawayu Onsen town, a 5-minute drive away. The public bathhouse can be entered between 14:00 and 20:00. Cost for the bathhouse entrance is included in the room rate.
Free pick-up service is provided from JR Kawayu Onsen Station between 16:00 and 18:00. Guests who wish to use the free service must make an advance request. Please contact the hotel directly for more information on the shuttle service. Additional charges will apply for pick ups outside those hours.
The entire property is non-smoking and self-service. Guests must set and put away their own futon bedding.
