Piona- Colico is a welcoming tourist resort in the province of Lecco on Lake Como, on the border with Valtellina and Valchiavenna, presenting a unique natural environment, due to the great variety and beauty of its elements. The Holiday House "Villa Sole" is located on the slopes of Mount Legnone (Orobie Prealps) which with its 2610 meters s.l.m. it is the highest mountain of Lake Como and enjoys a splendid view of the enchanting Baia di Piona, a quiet place surrounded by nature it is great for relaxing holidays and outdoor activities. In ten minutes on foot you reach the grass beach of the Baia di Piona equipped and you can book and practice water sports such as canoeing, sailing, wind surfing boat trips, kite surfing etc. or you can hike on foot or by bike rentable in Colico, on mountain trails, trips and excursions in the nearby Valtellina, Valchiavenna and nearby Switzerland until you reach the free tax area of ​​Livigno for a day of shopping.
Sonia and Piero are pleased to welcome their guests to Villa Sole surrounded by greenery with a wonderful panoramic terrace from which you have a 360 ° view of Lake Como and the mountains that surround it, for a holiday dedicated to wellness and of relaxation in contact with Nature, Sonia has been practicing Tai Chi for several years, while Piero has a passion for horse riding in the nearby stables in Colico. It is possible to book Tai Chi classes, walks and Meditation in contact with nature and participate in the courses of the Association of Other Size of Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi and Meditation on its panoramic terrace, which are held during the week (request information). Another member of staff is Calipso, an affectionate and polite cocker spaniel. The new and comfortable independent apartment has a beautiful covered terrace for lunch and relaxation, outdoors, which enjoys a splendid view of the Bay of Piona and Mount Legnone.
Villa Sole is well served by a bar, newsagent and tobacconist, restaurant and pizzeria and the S. Fedele church. About 10 minutes walk to the Bay of Piona there are equipped beaches, a kiosk and other restaurants. . The center of Colico and the train station, bus and taxi service are about 20 minutes away, with other shops and equipped beaches and the ferry terminal for transporting cars and people by lake and trips and cruises to visit the most beautiful villas and resorts on the Lake Como.
