Our family house was built by our ancestors in the 19th century. It has always been a place which offered peace, safety and laughter. The garden offers quiet and inspiration....but also a space for you and your family/friends to enjoy and relax. The house, even though very central is peaceful and charming.

This is the perfect place if you like to be on the doorstep of the typical cafes, restaurants & monuments of this Baroque Sicilian town. The family run bakery, the local fruit & veg shop litterally next door & the family run butcher in the front will make you feel nurtured offering you the real experience of mediterranean food.The place is right in the hystorical centre. Everything is super easy to reach included the supermarket. The "Greek Theatre" is 15 minutes walk and in the summer hosts shows and concerts. The baroques churches are all nearby. If you like walking there is a lovely walk, Panoramica from where you can adnire an amazing view and even the Etna. The open air swimming pool is close by too. By car Palazzolo is well situated to reach various touristic destinations: - seaside in about 40 minutes. - Noto, the Sicilian baroque pearl, is half an hour away. - Modica is 45 minutes by car. - Syracuse, Catania (and the airport) and Ragusa are one hour away. - The Etna 2 hours distance. Everything is walking distance: the baoque churches, Greek theathre, the lovely panoramic walk (Panoramica), the shops, cafes, and restaurants. You can park for free nearby, but not in front of the house.
