Company information

Hi! this is Massimo Marini, Flatinrome's founder and manager. My website was built originally in 2002 with only one flat. After a few months of activities I understood that doing my job with passion, the direct management of the apartments (all the properties are either belonging to me, rented for a long term or I have an exclusive management agreement) and a good service for a moderate price are the best way to make the difference in the wide range of holiday rental websites in Rome. I provide a full property management, and my cleaning and maintenance staff ensure that each property is well taken care of. So Flatinrome is not an agency (= no commissions !). My goal is my guest's satisfaction, and I do believe that this is possible only with direct contact guest-owner. I've also the firm belief that your referrals are the most powerful marketing tool and for the success of Flatinrome nothing is more precious than a satisfied guest. The results told me that I was right: I achived my target in terms of guest satisfaction. I'm adding more properties that give you a wider range of choices at affordable prices. Flatinrome Trastevere is a complex of 4 different size vacation apartments and 3 luxury rooms that can accommodate up to 55 persons in total located in Trastevere, in the heart of the Eternal City, walking distance from all the main atractions. It is ideal for those looking for a relaxing break away from the crowded roads and hotels and at the same time looking for a very quiet accommodation for light sleepers in the historical centre of Rome. In every unit you will find all the comforts you could wish, including air conditioning, fast WiFi Wlan Internet connection in every room, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, telephone with free calls to Italian numbers, independent central heating, etc. The superb roof top is fully furnished with tables, chairs, sunlounger. Access is via a staircase not suitable for people with little mobility, but on the ground floor, however, is available to all guests the terrace of the guesthouse with a free distributor of hot drinks (coffee, cappuccino, chocolate, tea, etc.), a computer room with printer and a luggage room.

Neighbourhood information

The complex is located in the historical center, in Trastevere area. Trastevere is one of the best places in the Eternal City to spend your evenings, as it offers a diversity of cafés and restaurants, scattered throughout the picturesque cobble stone streets. The name of district comes from Latin: trans Tiberis, over the river Tiber. The river bends and in between is this nice district. It used to be the working class area: Romans used to cross the river to go and work in the city now it is the district “alla moda”. The apartments are also well connected to the city airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) and to the main train stations in Rome. With a few steps you can cross the river on “Ponte Fabricio” the oldest remaining bridge of Rome (62 bC !) and get to Jewish Ghetto and Largo Argentina, in the heart of the historical centre of the Eternal City. Trastevere Complex is in the perfect location for visiting the Eternal City by walk. The historical centre of Rome is in fact quite small: it’s a circle of less than 3 kilometres (less than 2 miles) in diameter that includes (from North clockwise): Termini Station, Coliseum, Trastevere and Vatican.
