Delightful late 19th century apartment in the central area a stone's throw from the main monuments. The house has just been renovated keeping the period style, the floors with cement tiles, the frescoed ceilings, the colored walls create the warm atmosphere of an ancient Sicilian house. It is also equipped with heating, air conditioning, televisions, refrigerators and private bathrooms. I also live in the apartment, therefore always remaining at your disposal in absolute respect of privacy. The house consists of an entrance hall, and the two guest rooms, the Chat Noir room and the Fellini room. The areas reserved for me are the living room, the kitchen, the dining room and my bedroom. The use of the dining room is currently prohibited due to the Covid emergency, while the use of the kitchen is absolutely forbidden for guests. Living in the house I will always be at your disposal for any questions do not hesitate to call me! Obviously it will be my concern to respect your privacy and facilitate a welcoming stay.
Hello my name is Giuseppe Messina but everyone calls me Pinello, born in 1981 I lived almost 6 years in Berlin where I was a DJ and in the spring of 2017 I decided to return to Palermo to open my B & B. My greatest passions are Cinema, Music, Motorbikes and of course good cuisine. Friends say I am a point of reference, maybe because I like taking care of people, I consider myself a jovial and positive guy, trying as much as I can to be a gentleman.
The district is called Zisa from the Arabic al-'Azīza, or "the splendid", one of the oldest areas of Palermo is very easy to access the points of historical interest, plus the advantage of not being in the tourist area (therefore shopping is cheaper) and to park easily (No ZTL No pedestrian zone). Nearby is full of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, bars, restaurants and street vendors including the famous Street Food Palermo, in short, you'll find everything in the house! Just take a short walk to see the monuments of the city: 10 minutes to get to the Cathedral, 11 to the Teatro Massimo, 15 to the Catacombs of the Capuchins and 6 minutes to the castle to the Zisa. In just 15 minutes you will reach Piazza Politeama, where the bus stop for the airport is located and in 20 min. you will arrive at Piazza Marina, where every Sunday they organize the biggest antiques market. To go shopping or to be enchanted by the street markets in 10 minutes you can reach the Capo market, 15 for the Vucciria market, 18 for Ballarò. Also in front of the house, the 124 bus leaves from the Central Station.
