Casa Monaco is located in Auletta, a little town of the Cilento e Vallo di Diano National Park. Fully immersed in Nature, the structure offers the possibility to relax and enjoy the quiet. The center of the town is only 1km away and the holiday home is just a few steps from the river Tanagro, which offers, for the most intrepid people, the possibility to go rafting. While if you are looking for peace, the place gives the opportunity to walk in the open air, to admire the beautiful landscapes, which surround the home, and to enjoy a good day in the garden. In fact the garden is about 5000mq and is characterized by the typical Mediterranean Flora. There is also a varied Fauna and there are some hives of beef, because the host hast the hobby oft he bee-keeping. The guest will have the impression to be in a real locus amoenus.
For those who are interested in adventure or social life, the property is located in a strategic area that allows easy access to some tourist destinations, such as Salerno, Naples, the Amalfi Coast and the Ponte alla Luna in Sasso di Castalda. For those who love culture and are curious about local attractions, the house is located 65 km from the fantastic temples of Paestum and 40 km from the Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula. Just 4 km away are the enchanting and mysterious Pertosa-Auletta Caves. If you are a sea lover, at about 100 km you will find the fantastic beaches of Maratea, Palinuro and Marina di Camerota. If you are a food lover and are interested in learning about local products, you can participate in the festivals of the various villages of the Vallo di Diano, such as the white artichoke in Auletta in the periods of late April and early May. In the summer season, on the other hand, you can take part in various culinary and tasting tours and at various events, such as Princess Costanza in Teggiano, a medieval historical re-enactment.
