We have been in hospitality for over 25 years and see this project as an extension of sharing the love and warmth we received through our journey.

Our village is surrounded by the serene waters of Ashtamudi lake. We highly recommend an afternoon stroll down to the lake where you can maybe take a boat to the nearest Chinese fishing net. A typical day at Ashtamudi Homes starts with a morning cup of tea and a quiet breakfast. You may hear the sounds of old melodies wafting through the morning air from our vinyl player. Birds will be chittering and hooting and tweeting and chirping in that lazy sleepy mid-afternoon way they have. The desultory evening is interrupted by the long siren of the garment factory on the island, acting like a shot of caffeine to one's mind, breaking the midday dryad's spell.
