The living areas in this home consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine, a sitting room with Smart TV with Sky, solid-fuel stove, and a selection of books and games, and a sunroom. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite, a ground-floor king-size, and three twins, serviced by two bathrooms, the ground floor featuring a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside there is a multi-level front garden with lawn, patio, furniture and gas barbecue, and private driveway for six cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair and travel cot. You'll find a shop in 4.5 miles, a pub in 0.6 miles, and beach in 0.3 miles. Escape to rural Cork by booking Whispering Pines. Note: There are steps in the garden; please take care.

Neighbourhood information

When travelling through County Cork, to the southwest of Durrus and towards the tip of the Sheep's Head Peninsula, you will come across the lively and energetic community of Kilcrohane. The Church of St. Crohan, established in the eighth century, is where the settlement derives its name. Those who want to stay on land can enjoy the Sheep's Head Way and travel some of its 60 miles of paths. The remarkable crystal-clear seas off the coast of Kilcrohane are a terrific spot to swim and explore all of the secret caves sprinkled about.
