Dromelihy house stud on the Wild Atlantic way is a 5min drive from Doonbeg and 15min from Kilkee,both offering pubs,restaurants,take aways,coffee shops and cafes. Guests can enjoy staying on a working horse and cattle farm . The farmhouse was originally a thatched cottage owned by the same family for over 100 years. In 1996 a second storey was added to the house using architectural salvage pine doors,pitch pine stairs and stone. The farm breeds and produces Irish sports horses and Shorthorn cattle. Rooms have en suite shower rooms,hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities with snacks. There are no food options. Parking is free.Bikes and motorbikes under cover if required. Local blue flag beaches are a short drive away as are golf courses/water park/dolphin watching and Vandaleur walled garden.

The Cliffs of Moher and the Burren are a 40min drive. Loop head Lighthouse also 40 mins. Shannon airport 1 hour and Killimer car ferry to Kerry a 25 min drive. I am happy to give advise on places to eat, tour,swim,walk and water sports. Linda
