A modern eqipped apartment RELAX Opatija (alltogether 105 m2 big, from which 70 m2 interior + 35 m2 of balcony i.e. terrace) is located approx. 300 m (skyway) from the see (beach), in peaceful surrounding, on the hill, with the magnificant view on the Kvarner bay. The apartment is also located on The Carmen Sylva Forest Promenade which gives you the opportunity to experience Opatija from a new perspective and admire fantastic views of the Riviera and Kvarner Bay from an oasis of green. It consists of 2 newly decorated bedrooms, each with a double bed (160x200 cm), a living room with a pull-out sofa, air-condition and LCD satellite TV, 1 bathroom (toilet and shower) with washing machine, a dining area and a kitchen complete with an oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher and all other modern kitchen-utensils, -tools and -appliances. The apartment featuring a balcony i.e. terrace (35 m2) with barbecue and sea view, also has its own covered private parking for more than one car. The Carmen Sylva Forest Promenade gives you the opportunity to experience Opatija from a new perspective and admire fantastic views of the Riviera and Kvarner Bay from an oasis of green.

Opatija, the so called Pearl of Adriatic, is famous touristic town on the northern part of the Croatian Adriatic cost with the long tradition in tourism. The first hotel in Opatija, Kvarner, which still exists, was build in the end of 19th century (1884) and is only 500 m far from our apartments. Villa Angiolina, the oldest villa in Opatija and St. Jacob church, around whose abbey the town was build (btw "opatija" is Croatian word for the English "abbey"), are also in the walking distance from the apartments. There is also (only 100 m from our apartments) the famous Lungomare, along the cost promenade, which is long 12 km and connects all little towns on the Opatija's Riviera. It starts in Volosko and ends in Lovran. There is also the Carmen Sylva Forest Promenade, a true gem hidden beneath the thick treetops of the forest in the hinterland of Opatija. Besides the opportunity to enjoy Opatija’s ‘sea of greenery’, this one-and-half-hour walk also reveals interesting places, such as the Vrutki water source, where local women once gathered to do their laundry, a bench carved from stone where Carmen Sylva found inspiration for her verses, and the Vela Fortica and Mala Fortica vantage points, which offer great views of the sea. Everyone who ever visited Opatija was stunned with its beauty and its uniqueness! You should really come and see it by your self. There’s no place like it!
