This attractive villa is the perfect tranquil escape from everyday life as set in a very quiet area on the edge of a small village with only the sounds of cicadas & expansive views of the surrounding undulating countryside of orchards & stunning majestic mature olive trees. This charming property is positioned on the ground floor with a private outdoor swimming pool, garden, BBQ and terrace with gazebo for alfresco living. The accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms (1 double with en-suite / 1 twin bed) with another separate bathroom. Open plan lounge/kitchen area seating for x6 . Fully equipped kitchen comprising of an oven, microwave & fridge/freezer. Flat Screen smart TV which includes satellite channels & Netflix. Free Wi-fi is available throughout the property. Free parking on site. Within the same complex, adjacent to Villa Shelia, an identical newly built property, Villa Dionisia is also available offering families/friends the opportunity to holiday together.
We are a small family orientated run business with the experience of many years in the tourism industry. Our home is here in Crete and we are delighted to share our love of this paradise with you. We reside on-site with our house connected to the villas so should any queries/problems arise we are there on hand to assist you and to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one.
Villas Shelia and Villa Dionisia are located in the charming Village of Roumeli, a pleasant location in Rethymno prefecture, where our guests can find one local taverna which serves tradinonal Greek cuisine and a cafe/grill house, two super markets and a cafe, all of them located within 200 meters to 1,5 kilometer walking distance from the Villa. Close by to Roumeli includes the Village of Perama, which also offer a variety of shops, bakery, grocery store, butcher’s, taverns, cafes, supermarkets, ATM machines, pharmacies, gas stations. Approximately 5 minutes away by car is Panomo a lovely fishing village and well known for its sandy beaches, There are several cafes around the beaches, all serving a range of Greek and Cretan cuisine. They also have great sea views, an ideal spot. Boat trips from Panormos are run from the breakwater in the small port. These are a great introduction to diving and snorkelling in Crete, 20 minutes by car away is Rethymno a destination for visitors who wish to explore the rich cultural heritage and the natural beauties of Crete.
