Villa Kalypso is nearby the areas of Vouves (2’ drive), Kolymbari (4’ drive) and Tavronitis (2’ drive) and Chania (20’ drive) Tavronitis is a small lively village next to the seaside. It has a nice pebbly beach surrounded by beautiful Tamarisk trees. Here you can find rest and peace, because this area isn’t so wellknown by tourists. At this pure nature area you will find a lot of local people. Also in Tavronitis you have a local coffeeshop, markets, ATM, doctor, pharmacy,… everything you will need is very close by. Just like Darmarochori also Tavronitis is surrounded by Olive gardens, wine yards and orange trees. We are in the region of West Crete, this part is the most green and most beautiful part of Crete. They Highway is close by so it is easy to go to the most beautiful beaches in the world such as Elafonisi, Falasarna, Balos and Gramvousa. Don’t forget to visit; the war cementry in Maleme, the acient Olive tree in Vouves or Platanias with their shops an nice beaches and off course the most beautiful Venetion harbor off Europe: Chania
