Outdoor area The meticulously landscaped outdoor area of Villa Joanna beckons with an array of amenities and serene retreats, including: - A spacious 60 sq.m. private swimming pool, with the option of heating for your entire stay, requiring at least one week's advance notice and an additional daily charge. - An adjacent shallow pool designed for children's enjoyment. - A 4-seater hot tub for relaxation. - The poolside terrace is complete with comfortable sunbeds, umbrellas, a hammock, and an outdoor shower, ideal for unwinding in the villa's peaceful surroundings. - Fully equipped barbecue facilities, including a charcoal grill and sink, along with an outdoor dining table nestled under the shade of trees and a charming pergola. - Expansive lawn areas with outdoor toys and a ping pong table to delight our younger guests. - Ample parking space within the villa premises to accommodate multiple cars. - The villa boasts its own gated entrance, and the entire outdoor area is securely fenced, ensuring 100% privacy for our guests. -Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the “Climate Crisis Resilience Charge,” requiring a fee of 10 euros per night from March to October and 4 euros per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.

Set in the wonderful village of Prinos, the location is great, as you have the opportunity to visit all the well-known beaches and sightseeing of Rethymno with your car, taking only 5 to 20 minutes maximum. Around the villa you will also find a traditional tavern, 1 km away. All the shops that you might need as well as the nearest beach, are located in “Skaleta” area, which is only 1.5 km away.
