There are no neighbours for 1 kilometre around to interfere with your privacy or choice of music! The spacious entertainment area is adjacent to the infinity pool, complete with outside kitchen, dining area, traditional Greek barbecue, as well as a luxury gas BBQ as alternative. All of this has direct access from the annex's kitchen, living and dining area, complete with its own 55" flatscreen Smart 4K multimedia TV. There is also a small hifi with Bluetooth facility and an Alexa Echo Dot. The main residence has a 65" flatscreen, Smart 4K TV, an AppleTV unit and a full TV service including international channels linked to a high-end, multimedia surround sound system with Alexa Echo as alternative. Starlink WiFi access throughout the house and on the pool terrace - around 120Mbps speed minimum. To summarise, the villa is equiped for every need you might have - and more!

I am a retired dentist. My wife and I have decided to settle in Lefkada after having based our yacht, El Aquila, in this area for the last 29 years. And still we find new gems we never knew about! The island of Lefkada offers so much to visitors and residents alike. We are happy to share this experience with others. Our villa consist of 2 independant houses, which can be rented as one villa, or, alternatively, the annex can be rented seperately for smaller families or groups.

Located in a forested valley above Nidri in a completely private and relaxed nature setting, Villa El Aquila is a mere 10 minutes by car from this bustling seaside town with an abundance of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, medical centre, local shops and beaches. Perfectly located to enjoy peaceful surroundings, sipping away your favourite drink while taking in the endless and breath-taking views of the Ionion Sea below. On a clear day it is even possible to see the Peloponnese mountains. This is probably not the location of choice for you if you wish to be centre to the noise, music and activities of crowded holiday cities or towns! The main town of Lefkas is approx. 40 mins by car. It is advisable to have your own transport (preferably car) in order to get around and visit all of the beaches and attractions of Lefkada. Unfortunately, due to our nature location, there is no public transport available. Taxis can be booked on request, but it can be costly. Access up to the villa had been upgraded in 2023 to a lovely concrete road! At the start there is a short, yet well-maintained and relative flat gravel section, which will pose no problem to any vehicles, scooters or bicycles. If hiking is your interest, there is unlimited options in the area around us. One to mention is the well-known Lefkas waterfalls.
