This attractive villa is the perfect tranquil escape from everyday life as set in a very quiet area on the edge of a small village with only the sounds of cicadas & expansive views of the surrounding undulating countryside of orchards & stunning majestic mature olive trees. This charming property is positioned on the ground floor with a private outdoor swimming pool, garden, BBQ and terrace with gazebo for alfresco living. The accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms (2 doubles one with en-suite) with another separate bathroom. Open plan lounge/kitchen area with round table and seating for x6 . Fully equipped kitchen comprising of an oven, microwave & fridge/freezer. Flat Screen smart TV which includes satellite channels & Netflix. Free Wi-fi is available throughout the property. Free parking on site. Within the same complex, adjacent to Villa Dionisia, an identical newly built property, Villa Sheila is also available offering families/friends the opportunity to holiday together.
We are a small family orientated run business with the experience of many years in the tourism industry. Our home is here in Crete and we are delighted to share our love of this paradise with you. We reside on-site with our house connected to the villas so should any queries/problems arise we are there on hand to assist you and to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one.
The picturesque quite village of Roumeli has 2 supermarkets, café, café neon/grill house & 1 taverna serving traditional Greek cuisine which are all located within 200 metres (1.5km) walking distance from the villas. The small traditional fishing village of Panormo with its narrow cobbled streets is a 5 minute drive away, where there are excellent sandy beaches, cafes & restaurants serving a range of Greek & Cretan cuisine. There is also ATM’s, pharmacy, supermarkets, souvenir shops, butcher and a bakery. Boat trips for diving & snorkelling excursions can be organised from the small harbour. A 10 minute drive will take you to the community of Perama which has everything from banks/ATM, pharmacies, butchers, supermarkets, shops, grill house, café/bars, post office, bakeries, gas station & an emergency hospital clinic. The nearest main market town is the resort of Rethymnon, which can be reached within 20 minutes (14kms) by car where the local produce market is on once weekly on a Thursday. In the town, there are banks, markets, bars, restaurants and the General Hospital. Rethymnon offers the opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage heritage and natural beauties of Crete.
