The 380 sq.m. Villa al Sur spreads across 3 levels and features six generous bedrooms, accommodating 12 guests in their plush beds and up to 13 if required, while the 115 m2 private heated pool spanning the front of the villa beckons you to awake for a dip. The property showcases current architectural design which, combined with a modern Boho style interior, creates a relaxed and welcoming ambience in an upscale chic environment. Situated on the hillside that leads down to the natural harbour of Souda Bay, on the Akrotiri peninsula of Chania, Villa al Sur enjoys beautiful natural views of the White Mountains and Souda bay in the distance. Light flows throughout the villa thanks to the glass framework which forms a distinct feature. -Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the “Climate Crisis Resilience Charge,” requiring a fee of 1,50 euros per night from March to October and 0,50 euros per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.

Neighbourhood information

Villa al Sur is located in Pithari, on the road linking the airport to Souda Bay, on the Akrotiri peninsula of Chania. The Akrotiri peninsula is well known for its beautiful sandy beaches and bays, offering crystalline waters and gorgeous views, such as Kalathas, Marathi and Loutraki which are all a short drive from the villa. Many local amenities are dotted along the main road such as well stocked mini markets, tavernas, coffee shops which sell pastries and breakfast treats, and even a patisserie! The principal village in the area, Kounoupidiana, is within a 4km drive and has all the amenities you need, including a large supermarket and bakery.
