Traditional stone house, located in a very central and quiet neighborhood in Kato Hora, Serifos, half a minute from the bus station, five min walk from the main square. In the heart of Kato Chora you will enjoy the domestic life and the walks in the paved little alleys. 20 min walk to the nearest beach, going down the route 1 to Livadi. The 60cm stone walls retain a natural cool temperature all the year. Renovated in respect of all majestic Cycladic elements. Enjoy the beautiful view from the veranda, night sky or relax in the privacy of the back yard. The residency consists of two levels. At the lower level there is the bedroom area with a double bed, wc and separate shower area. Upstairs is the living room, where there is also another double bed and a single loft bed. Next is the kitchen with fridge and hot plates. At the veranda you enjoy beautiful view to Aegean sea, Sifnos, Milos, Kato Chora, the blue-domed churche of Evaggelistra, Ano Chora and the unique sun sets behind the rocky hills every evening.
I am very friendly and enjoy interacting with people. I like hard-working and I am not afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my work and I know how to get the job done. I would describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in everything I do. I am always happy to welcome guests and give accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area. Providing customers withal useful information about the island, food , restaurants, beaches, and answering any questions they may have.
The houses are categorized by their structure and style. According to their structure there are three types; the common cave houses, called yposkafa, which are dug entirely into the rock, houses partially dug into the rock with exterior additions (our house) and regular residences constructed on the ground. Typically, they are long and deep with narrow facades, windows and small verandas or yards. The living room is at the front where there is more natural light and the bedrooms are in the back; in between lies the traditional kitchen usually accompanied by a fireplace and the bathroom was situated outside. In the lovely whitewashed yard there was a water tank for gathering rainwater which was essential.
