"Physis Country House 2" is a fully restored old house based on Cretan architecture. The property has common share access, it is fully equipped and it can accommodate up to 4 persons. A small traditional settlement located at an altitude of 130m. at the northern foot of the Pyrgos hill (altitude 228 m.) of Asterousia. Its location allows it to overlook the fertile plain of lower Messara while opposite it is the highest mountain in Crete "Psiloritis" and to its left the South Cretan Sea. It is worth mentioning that in the village there are the famous towers of Kourmoulides which, however, are not accessible to the general public. At 6 km from the village is the archeological site of Phaistos, Gortyna, and Agia Triada. In a short distance are the beaches of Matala, Kommos, Kalamaki, and Kokkinos Pyrgos. While the villages located southwest are Petrokefali, Kamilari, Pitsidia, Sivas, and Listaros. Most of the villagers are engaged in agriculture. Finally, around the village, there are many beautiful walking routes that visitors love. Now, about the options, you have if you want to move. The first option is you can call a taxi, and the second option is you can rent a car. But my suggestion is to feel like a car for sure !!! The house is located about 50 from the nearest port and airport (Heraklion).
