The area: ★The village and area of Kalafits is quieter than the west coast of the island. It's less developed, although it's dotted with nice villas in typical Cycladic style and a few hotels. Markets, tavernas, and restaurants specializing in seafood are plentiful within minutes of the villa. Kalafatis is just 11 km. from the vibrant nightlife of Mykonos Town and the airport. The sparkling waters of Kalafatis Bay are about five minutes from Villa Ortus Navy. Kalafatis Bay is the largest on the island and the only beach to receive "Blue Flag" status in recent years. Kalafatis Beach has two areas: one is less organized without any services, while the other one offers sun loungers and umbrellas for rent. Kalo Livadi and Lia beaches are close by as well.
