Property info

Stay in an upscale, stylish suite in the heart of the historical center of Athens. Situated on a quiet street in a Neoclassical Athenian house built in 1860. Literally a stone's throw from the Acropolis, the ancient agora, museums, art galleries, the flea market and lots of hip restaurants and bars. A two minute walk from Monastiraki Metro station that connects directly the airport to the port of Piraeus. Make the best out of your stay in a luxury suite were history meets contemporary design!

Neighborhood info

The neighborhood of Monastiraki and Plaka, the name of which has become synonymous to the word 'bargain'. Here you can find literally everything (no joking). Antiques, books, everyday items, collectibles, anything you can think about is sold (and bought) here. In Monastiraki square you can still see the ruins of the Hadrian's Library, the Mosque of Tzistarakis but also a piece of the ancient bed of Eridanus river, which once ran through Athens. Shopping-addicts beware, for it is Ermou street that passes through Monastiraki square. This is the leading commercial street of Athens, ending at Syntagma Square. Syntagma Square is perhaps the most typical meeting place for Athenians visitors. Here you can admire the Palace of the Greek Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, while beside it you will find the National Garden, awaiting for you to explore it. Following on, there is Panepistimiou street, which actually means the street of the university and although it is a commercial district, it mostly stands out for its unique buildings.
