Our company Ma Maison Y&R owns three luxury apartments in Athens. We are Yannis and Rena, "fellow travelers" for the last twenty years. Three years ago we decided to do something that we love very much, through BOOKING. The Greek word "ΦΙΛΟΞΕΝΙΑ=hospitality" is of a particular importance in the Greek culture. It’s a compound word from "ΦΙΛΩ=LOVE" and "ΞΕΝΟΣ=GUEST " and refers to the act of nestling and caring of a guest by the host. It was an institution for the ancient Greeks to welcome and take care of the guests at their home. They believed particularly in the idea of hospitality and regarded it as a moral duty and a sacred rule of the gods.(Xenios Zeus was the protector of the guests). They offered them bath and sleep and they greeted them with gifts. The host and the guest were linked with friendly ties, which where inherited to their descendants. This is our inheritance. It will be an honor to host you.

Ma Maison is a 50m² luxury suite with car parking and a big balcony(20m2),located 200mts from Agios Eleftherios station.Sleep on egyptian cotton linens,relax in the hydromassage shower cabin,lift the tent and have breakfast at the balcony, watch satellite tv, prepare your day with our recommendations in the provided tablet. If you want all these this is your choice. •Strong wifi-high speed internet •Centralized heat/cold air system connected through channels remotely controlled •Solar water heater for continuous use of hot water plus an electric water heater •Comfortable Italian design sofa •Bathroom with a hydromassage shower cabin ,hairdryer with extra 110 volts inlet •Bedroom with a double bed with anatomic mattress •20m² balcony has 2 comfortable chairs so you can relax and enjoy your breakfast or wine. Lift the motorized tent and enjoy the garden and the little church just a breath away, •The breakfast consists of coffees (espresso and filter), various kinds of teas, drinking chocolate, chamomille, wheat rusks, butter and greek honey.

Neighbourhood information

If you want to live like a local, discover the culture, taste local cuisine and move outside of the touristic spots, this is the place for you. Due to its ideal position you can be downtown in 15 min. It is a very beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood with a lot of stores (supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, banks etc) that will cover every need. Enjoy your coffee and dessert at the cafes, dine in restaurants among locals, shop at the open market fresh fruits and vegetables. You can come very easily from the airport through Metro network. Also from the port of Piraeus there is a direct link through the Metro network. Agios Eleftherios metro station is 5 stops from Omonoia, 6 from Monastiraki and 7 from Akropolis and Thissio. You will need about 15 minutes to get anywhere in the historical centre while you are just 500 metres away from National Road and from two major streets such as Acharnon and Patission. If you have a car then the National Highway is 500 meters away with easy access to both directions (North and South) while Acharnon and Patission streets (500 meters range) will take you downtown in 10 minutes.
