Accommodation in family run guest house. Queen, Double or Twin bedrooms available in ECO House powered by the sun and the wind. Rates are per room (maximum 2 guests per room). Minimum stay 6 days. Private bathroom (shower, basin and toilet). Each room has a private access to patio, garden and free parking. Safe deposit box and hairdryer. Fridge use. Free coffee tea and homemade cookies. Safe storage for Mountain Bikes, Walking Boots and Water Sports Equipment. Easy access by car to many local beaches. Panoramic views. Ample free parking close to your chosen room. There are kitchen facilities.
Karpathos Guest House has a strict No Smoking Policy. The house is located next to Greek Government Forestry Land.
Karpathos Guest House is an ECO House. Both power and hot water are generated using solar panels, pv panels and a wind turbine. The house is 'off grid' and self sufficient in electricity.
Yvonne and Phill are available to answer any questions regarding your stay on the Island.
Advice and guide introductions are offered to guests keen on undertaking adventure activities such as snorkelling, hiking, yoga, biking, wind surfing, kite surfing, scuba diving, and trekking. These activities are managed safely by professional companies and charges vary.
Both Yvonne and Phill like to participate in daily yoga. Either at classes in Pigadia, or at Karpathos Guest House. They also like to snorkel swim everyday from many of the 50 beaches on Karpathos.
Phill is happy to offer itineraries for interesting snorkel 'trails' to view the fantastic underwater landscapes, fish nurseries and caves. Phill is a keen freediver. Yvonne is an amazing cook and guests may be lucky enough to experience some samples!
A peaceful location with panoramic views. The historic village of Menetes is a short walk away from Karpathos Guest House where you will find the village bakery, Artists Gallery , Folklore Museum and traditional tavernas and Kafenio. Visits to the underground war tunnels, traditional Karpathian village house, and the beautiful church by arrangement with the village guide.
