The newly built guesthouse Izambo is at the high point of the castle, at the end of the amphitheatrically built old town and at the intermediate path for the upper walls of the castle and the Byzantine church of Agia Sophia. The cobbled narrow pathway within a 5 minute walk from the main entrance leads guests to the romantic atmosphere of the boutique hostel, of which although the first impression may be seen somewhat tedious, the guest’s gaze immediately compensates by the excellent view and unique landscape. Care for those with mobility problems and those who are not fond of walking or climbing, as the walk is uphill to the Guest Houses.
