Unwind at this peaceful home called "Seawhisper Beachhouse" right on the beach. Situated in a local, untouristy area, this beach is never crowded and, as the water gets deep gradually, is child friendly. The home has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, all kitchen gadgets including a Nespresso coffee machine and an Air Fryer. Every window is covered by mosquito nets. Kindly note that the 2nd bedroom is in an extension of the living room area. It is separate from the living room but not private with its own door. This bedroom doubles up as a dining room in the winter months, whereupon the house would only accommodate 2 people in the main bedroom from December to March. (Although the large main bedroom does have space enough to accommodate 2 camp beds.) Seawhisper has a patio with an outdoor dining area and full sea views. You can park your car by the house under a tree to keep it cool!
My name is Deborah. I love sailing, tennis, walking, cycling, dogs, cats, photography, food and wine! I am passionate about the environment, and can be seen on numerous plastic collecting missions! Along my stomping ground the beaches are completely plastic free!! I am English but speak fluent Greek and Italian and can 'get by' with French and Spanish.
Several excellent tavernas and a general store are nearby and the lively port of Katakolo, with its cafes, bars and restaurants is a relaxed 15 minute walk away along the beach or a 5 minute drive. The main town of Pyrgos is a 15 minute drive, but there are also several daily buses and a twice daily train. We can organise private daily or hourly boat trips, visiting local areas or nearby islands. Ancient Olympia, together with its Archaeological Museum, is 33kms away. There is an early morning local train to Olympia, returning lunchtime. The little station is 3 minutes walk away, but you have to wave at the driver for him to stop!
