Company info

City life became intolerable for us at a certain point in our lives. The desire to spend as much quality time as possible with our children, close to nature and the sea that we love so much, prompted us to leave everything behind and move to the beautiful island of Skyros, hoping that it would eventually become our permanent home. We have since enjoyed every single moment of working -as a foreign language teacher and local government employee respectively- fishing, hiking, planting and being part of a small, relaxed community, always in the company of our children. We started our small, family business almost 8 years ago, motivated not so much by money, but the desire to share our lifestyle and the beauties of this island with others. Life is sharing, after all. Today we continue to operate based on that same premise and the one of respect for travelers.

For many years we dreamed about buying land on the island we loved so much. In fact, we left everything behind and moved here from the city, not only for a better quality of life for us and our children, but to be close to buying opportunities. Many sacrifices were made along the way towards fulfilling our dream. Even more after we were finally able to purchase the property on which our business and our home is located. Today, 20 years later, the amazing view that we enjoy everyday, the proximity to the sea and the outdoors that we always desired, and the joy of offering these, as well as the best accommodation services possible, to people from all over the world, make all our sacrifices worthwhile!

Neighborhood info

If you love the outdoors, this is definitely the place to be. Our area, and the island in general, is a naturist's paradise. Swimming in the crystal clear sea, -almost year round- snorkeling and fishing, wind surfing, strolls on one of the many quiet beaches, hiking or biking on spectacular mountains or through the large Pine forest, are easy to do, on your own and throughout the year, thanks to the lovely climate. Organized scuba diving is also available by a club just minutes away from our complex. In fact, the close proximity to beaches, to markets, good restaurants, bars etc is one of Chriason's greatest assets. Our neighborhood is ideal for a quiet -yet interesting and not far away from the "action" family vacation.
