The building is on a quiet pedestrian street 3 minutes walking distance to and from the Metro. Fully refurbished as from June 2024, it is appreciated by both families and groups of friends. 4 persons can sleep comfortably in beds and 2 on a platform bed in the living room, plus there is a baby crib*. The family room features a day bed/platform bed and is equipped with a small book collection and kid's toys. There are balconies on both sides for guests to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink outdoors. In all rooms the air conditioning units and the glass doors to the balcony are newly installed, as is a solar panel. Mattresses, bed sheets and kitchen utensils and the 32" smart TV set are new or mostly new. Welcome to Friends & Family! I am Michalis, your host and also an artist. I am a local and I tend to the apartment in person in tandem with Passa, a meticulous cleaner I am lucky to work with. I usually greet my guests and show them the apartment in person. I can answer your questions, if any, and I will be happy to share insights and tips. Keep in mind that I live and work around the corner, and that I don't mind to be reached if my guests need me! The apartment's design and most of the original art you will see in the apartment has been created by me.

A walking person's delight! One advantage of this apartment is its location. You will be staying close to every important site of interest; The Acropolis and major archaeological sites are within walking distance, as is Plaka, Monastiraki and Ermou str. -the downtown area for shopping- and also the nightlife spots of Gazi and the Technopolis. The neighbourhood, Thissio -also Thesseion- is considered one of the most pretty areas of central Athens. It is a safe & genuine neighbourhood, part of old Athens at the heart of the city's footpath grid for pedestrians, right next to the great promenade connecting archaeological sites, and one of Athens' rare bicycle networks. Thissio remains unspoiled from by the intense 'turistification' and gentrification that Koukaki and Exarcheia are unfortunately going through. The address is quiet. The pedestrian street excludes the street traffic you would meet elsewhere.
