Originally built in the 1830’s as a fisherman’s boat house, this is one of the oldest on the beautiful island of Thassos. Over the years it has been transformed into a rustic beach house with the clean clear Agean waters gently lapping against its balcony where you can sit and feed the fish and often watch pods of dolphins playing. At night you can relax on your private terrace and watch the stunning sunset before you. Here at Beach House Stavros you can relax by day and night with two terraces and a private stone and pebble beach with BBQ. Inside there are two single beds and one bunk bed. The top bunk is a little restricted due to the ceiling height but still very usable. The two single beds can be arranged as one double if requested. The kitchen is small but fully functional with oven, sink and fridge freezer. There is a separate toilet and shower room. All electricity and hot water is provided by eco friendly solar power.

Hello, we are Sam and Michelle and we live in the nearby mountain village of Kallirachis. We spend our days enjoying the local community, meeting new people, renovating our house and fishing in our small boat. We enjoy hiking in the hills of Thassos and particularly hosting our guided hikes to the amazing old Metamorphosis church, which sits high on the rock above the village of Kallirachis, and to the nearby secret Kosam caves.

Approximately 50 metres away is the soft, sandy beach of Skala Kallirachis and beyond that is the beautiful and peaceful fisherman’s port. A variety of tavernas, restaurants, supermarkets and takeaway meals are available from nearby establishments. The historic village of Kallirachis is approximately 2 km away.
