For chillier winter evenings there is a wood burning stove to cosy up in front of, and on long summer days a delightful patio garden provides panoramic views over the marshes towards Titchwell beach, which is located a mere 15-minute walk away.

Titchwell is right on the North Norfolk Heritage coast and home to the famous RSPB reserve. The sight and sound of the geese flying overhead in the autumn and winter is one of the most incredible things you will experience. Titchwell is just a short drive from the vast and beautiful Norfolk coastline, situated to easily access stunning Brancaster, Holme-next-the-Sea and Thornham. Neighbouring Brancaster is famed for its vast, breath-taking sandy beach bordering the famous links golf course of The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club. Seals bask on the creek edges and children can safely paddle in the tidal lagoons. The tide goes out a long way revealing the shipwreck of the SS Vina. Please be beware of strong tides and tide times - do not venture out! The sand is perfect for sandcastles and picnics. Kite-surfers provide exciting entertainment on windy days and with the parking only being a few yards from the beach. Explore Thornham beach and marshes, and be sure to visit the Thornham Deli to grab a coffee to accompany your walk. The nearby bustling seaside town of Hunstanton offers delicious fish 'n' chips, cafes, ice cream parlours, amusements arcades, bowling alley, crazy golf, watersports centre, Sea Life Centre and traditional fun fair. Visit Norfolk Lavender in Heacham and sample local produce from the farm shop and butchers. Bustling with the sailing fraternity, Brancaster Staithe is just a few minutes drive from Titchwell. Home to Brancaster Staithe Sailing Club, the harbour is an exciting place. Book a boat trip with Branta Cruises and enjoy a day out at National Trust owned Scolt Head Island.
