A charming, detached, weather-boarded cottage, set in a secluded location on the edge of the historic village of Wittersham, Tufton Croft is as romantic for couples as it is ideal for families and friends. Surrounded by enclosed lawned gardens, with fields and woodland beyond.

Information correct at time of writing. Lovely walks across fields and orchards are accessed directly from the cottage. For keen walkers there are hikes to National Trust's Smallhythe Place, the award winning 'Chapel Down' Vineyard and Restaurant, the Royal Military Canal, and the Saxon Shore Way. Other nearby Kent attractions are Brockhill Country Park with 54 acres of lakes and woodland walks (10 minutes away), Port Lympne Animal Park (20 minutes away), Bodiam Castle (25 minutes away); and a little further afield, approximately an hour away is Dover Castle. The delightful ancient Cinque Port towns of Tenterden and Rye are only five miles away, each with an array of antique shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. For the more adventurous the Channel Tunnel allows easy access to the French coast, and day trips by car to the attractive towns of Boulogne, Montreuil and Le Touquet. Sandling mainline railway station (five minutes drive from the property) provides access to London (journey time one hour 26 minutes).
