Far from the maddening crowds, with a peaceful location on a 300-acre working farm, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and overlooking a lake, this self-catering cabin has free parking on site. The property also has an EV charger in case you have an electric car. The cabin boasts a fitted kitchen with new appliances, including a 2-ring hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, and kettle. Crockery, kitchen utensils, and ironing facilities are provided. the cabin has an airfryer. With its gorgeous gardens and lakes, the property has been featured on the TV show Gardeners' World. Guests can sit on the veranda with a glass of wine and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings, and watch the sheep and cattle grazing. Red kites often soar above, and green woodpeckers can be spotted on the lawn. Guests can enjoy the Lockdown Larder farm shop, just across the field. It stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, homegrown beef and lamb, milk, butter, eggs, cheese, and local preserves. When travelling with dogs, please note that only one small dog is allowed (maximum weight:10kg) an extra charge of 50 Pounds per stay applies. Please contact Theresa regarding the pet.

Beautiful secluded wooden cabin by a small lake in our 1.5 acre garden. very peaceful and lots of wildlife to enjoy, with restful views across our pastures. Although the cabin was very lovely, we decided to change the colour scheme a little, so in April 2022 a little refurbishment happened, to enhance your stay with us. Picnic or have a Barbe and chillout, without leaving the cabin area. Lock Down Larder. Since lockdown times our son and his wife have opened a rural, eco friendly, farm shop which is open daily, just across the field from the cabin. It’s well stocked with most daily essentials and on Saturdays fresh bread, croissants etc is delivered from a local bakery.
Jim and I farm here in Kingston Blount with our son Jamie and grandson,Sam. They live just across the field from the cabin. We were both born in the village and couldn't think of a better place we would rather be. I enjoy gardening and helping in my daughters cut flower business. She has a cutting patch behind the cabin that was our veg patch. Jim is in heaven helping with ANYTHING!!! on the farm.
Kingston Blount is a rural quiet small village at the foot of the Chilterns in an area of out standing natural beauty. We are surrounded by footpaths and close to the Ridgeway. Mid Somer Murders are regulary filmed in surrounding villages and in the Chilterns. We have a great walkable small village cafe, great for snack lunch and many others a short drive away. We are Very central for places of interest inc. Oxford, Thame, Blenheim Palace, Bicester Village, Le Manoir aux Quats Saisons (Raymond Blancs), Waddesden Manor, The Cotswolds, Windsor Castle, Saville Gardens, Riverside towns Henley and Marlow, Cliveden Manor, Swan Antique Center, Garsington Opera, Art in Action, Waterperry Gardens and numerous National Trust Properties. London is in easy access using public transport, trains and bus.
