Thank you for booking your retreat with City to Country Retreat. We are a family business and are looking to provide the perfect countryside location for your retreat. Whilst we currently have the Cottage available for our guests, we are hoping to have woodland lodges available too within the next 12 months. These will be positioned within the woodland area. With its own private Hot Tub, this is the perfect place in which to relax and unwind within the tranquillity of the countryside. Ideal for families, friends & couples- the perfect retreat! Perfectly placed to explore Suffolk and Essex, light and airy Toppesfield Hall Cottage was renovated in 2021 to a very high standard and has everything you need for a great holiday. Open the bi-folding doors and you enter your own outside entertainment space with an undercover Hot Tub! As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, a hob, an oven, a kettle, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer in the Utility Cupboard too. Toppesfield Hall Cottage is the perfect place to relax and offers a SMART TV, Surround Speakers, BOSE Speaker and internet access. This cottage has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 5. In the first bedroom, you will find a king size bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a sofa bed in the lounge too, which is a small double. We have travel cots and high chairs available to hire if you have any little ones (these can be booked direct). ON SITE: Free WiFi EV Charging points Tennis/Games Court (FREE) Games Room with Table Tennis, Pool Table, Fussball, Darts, Boxing Punch Bag and Farm Vehicles for younger children (FREE). Little Tyke Vehicles for young children (FREE). Bike Hire Mindful & Relaxation Treatments In late Summer/early Autumn guest can freely pick and enjoy tasty apples from our apple trees in the woodland area. Walk into our village within 8mins where you will find a Dog Friendly Pub, Shop, Park & Brewery too. There are lots of lovely walks around the village and public footpaths to explore.

Neighbourhood information

We are lucky enough to have a Dog Friendly Village Pub, Shop, Post Office, Park, Brewery and vineyard too (so lovely local wine & ale)! Set in a picturesque location. Walk into the village in 8mins (no roads to cross). From Toppesfield Hall you can reach the village on foot in just 8 minutes! To venture further afield, we recommend a car. We have a few bikes to hire (first come basis).
