Company information

Owner of SoHot Stays. Born and raised in a Lincolnshire coastal town, I know a thing or 2 about coastal retreats! As an avid traveler, I have visited many fabulous places, both in England and overseas. During my travels, I usually stay in Airbnb’s or nice hotels. These experiences have been a major benefit during the setup of listings in Margate. Many good practices and ideas came from my travels - including free goodies for guests who book direct. Although traveling does bring many new business ideas, I mainly love it as I get to meet a lot of interesting people and learn about their traditions and cultures. This experience comes above all else. I have been an airbnb superhost for over 4 years and with my own hosting company have access to over 20 apartments in and around Margate. As well as the stunning West Bay House, a 9bed, 9bath property which sleeps up to 18 guests. We also have our own housekeeping team and we operate a local commercial launderette (fresh, clean linen for everyone)! Looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you in person. Located directly across from West Bay beach this 1 bed apartment will provide the perfect sea side escape. A sea view from every room guaranteed (apart from the loo!), so close to the sea you can hear the waves. Sleeping up to 4 guests in this large 1 bed flat. On street parking is available. 4 poster king bed with doors leading to your private terrace. Large sitting/dining room leading to a 2nd terrace both facing the beach. Located in the picturesque sea side town of Westgate-on-Sea. SoHot Stays are proud to bring you our latest offering in the beautiful town of Westgate-on-Sea, less than a 10 minute drive to Margate. This is a large 1 bed apartment with a bright and airy living/dining room, separate kitchen with a stove, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The bedroom has a king size 4 poster bed, dressing table and plenty of storage and lamps (the additional 2 guests sleep on the Ikea sofa-bed in the lounge).There is also a family bathroom with a bath and electric shower above. A toilet, basin and storage. The lounge has sea views, a fire place, TV, sofa-bed, and plenty of room for you and your family to enjoy.

Neighbourhood information

Free on street parking is available. Our beautiful apartment is located above the Swan pub and restaurant in Westgate. The flat is directly above the restaurant (not the bar), so it is quieter during the day and evening. The 2 terraces over look the outside seating area so this can get lively especially during summer months. The Swan closes at 11pm but most people leave at dusk. Check out the swan pub online for a list of their events as during bank holidays/some weekends they do have entertainment/singers (inside and outside). The good news is that you get a VIP view of this from the balcony (but it can be noisy). Entertainment stops before 9pm, so a good nights sleep is assured! Westgate on Sea is a charming Victorian town, steeped in Heritage with quaint shops and two fantastic blue flag beaches. The town's two wide open bays West Bay and St Mildred's are the perfect place to let off steam - sunsets are assured during spring, summer and autumn. Check out @sohotstays
