This old working mill has been in the family for over a hundred years, originally bought in the 1920's my my husbands great grandfather, who then changed it into his family home along with buying the bus company . The old mill is thought to be over 300 years old and one of the first to have been built in Kington, The wheel is on show in Birmingham museum. My husbands father was born here and also his two sons, both the sons then took over the local bus company. On the passing of both his parents , he couldn't part to sell it so rented it out for 10 years, Finally we decided to update the cottage , keeping the original characters .You will notice that there is only a front door, this is because we have had to block the other exit off due to really needing updating, there are two more rooms in the cellar next to the games room, closed of, one day we hope to restore these rooms.
