Newly refurbished ground floor cottage hidden away in the centre of Alston town. Ideal for couple wanting a quiet and peaceful holiday. Please be aware that the second bedroom is a very small box room without a window. Available for weekly, long weekends, or mid-week breaks. Provided is dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and all usual kitchen utensils. bed linen and towels provided, Hairdryer. Bike storage is available upon request.
We live just two minutes away and will be more than happy to help with any problems or questions you may have.
Alston is a small market town with a cobbled street. It is home to the SouthTynedale Railway, The Hub Heritage and Transport museum, Ashgill force (high waterfall) and very good for walking and cycling. Epiacum Roman Fort There are plenty of places to eat and drink. Alston hosts a good variety of shops.
