The village is quite quiet however it is surrounded by beautiful walks and scenery. It is only 4 miles to Pickering where you can find shops and others. There is private parking at the back of the property which can fit 2 cars and there is space to park at the front of the property as well. The coastliner bus service runs through Kirby misperton to Malton, Pickering, York and Whitby. The nearest train station is in Malton. There is also local taxis which can take to you wherever you want to travel to.
