The Annexe @ The Roost is a wonderful holiday home to simply relax in, a lovely setting for a long weekend, or as an ideal base to explore further afield for a longer stay. This home makes the very most of its location with an upside-down layout, a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, the first floor offers a lovely living/dining area with far-reaching views across the New Forest National Park. There is a modern, well-equipped kitchen and outside is a private seating area that’s perfect to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or a gin and tonic after a day of exploring. With miles of walking or cycling tracks from the door and a local village inn, a short stroll away you can enjoy a break from driving and enjoy the forest at a slower pace to really appreciate its beauty and tranquillity. For keen walkers or cyclists, there are many other pretty villages to explore, many with village pubs to enjoy a gastronomic treat too! This holiday home is also well placed for road links to the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, the stunning Christchurch Harbour and the beautiful coastline including Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Studland and Swanage. Other places of interest include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Marwell Zoo, Bovington Tank Museum and New Forest Wildlife Park are worth a visit.
