Trelonie is a traditional fisherman's cottage set in the heart of St Ives. It is well-equipped and comfortable, with the added bonus of a small courtyard garden. We have granite walls, flagstone floors, local artwork, and a stable door - all the prerequisites for the quintessential Cornish cottage! Woofing guests are also welcome for an additional fee, as long as they obey the house rules! We also have wireless broadband available for those of you who simply cannot sever the ties with the real world. If you are looking for a glossy, high-end 'boutique' accommodation, perhaps we are not for you. However, if you are looking for a traditional, sympathetically renovated and comfortable cottage in the heart of St Ives, then we look forward to welcoming you. Our fisherman's cottage was built in the mid 1800s, and we try and make it feel like a home from home, a place you can relax after a day at the beach or pottering around the cobbled streets of our pretty seaside town. The ground floor of the cottage has a sitting room, kitchen, and bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Just off the kitchen is shared access with the cottage next door to our private courtyard. This is an old-character cottage so the steps to the upstairs bedrooms may be a bit steep for those with mobility concerns. The first floor is where both bedrooms are. The first bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has a triple sleeper bunk bed, a double on the bottom and a single bed on top. The single top bed is more suited for children then adults. The rubbish collection in St Ives, is unfortunately just that – rubbish!  As the streets are so narrow there is no space for an outside bin.  If you are in the cottage for longer than a week we can arrange for the rubbish to be collected.  If you do happen to leave rubbish in the property when you depart, there will be a small charge per bag.  This is what the cleaner charges to remove them to the tip.  I hope you understand.

We are off a side street on Chapel Street, right in the middle of town. The train station and car park is a ten minute walk from the cottage and the harbour is only a 4 minute walk.
