Sixpence is a cosy getaway cottage for two situated on the outskirts of the historical town of Penryn in the heart of Cornwall. The lounge is extremely snug with comfortable sofa and furnishings with plush carpeting underfoot and the fire roaring, this may well remind you of the film The Holiday! The light and airy comfortable kitchen and dining area have all the essentials plus some added extras! It looks out on a private walled garden and is a real suntrap in fine weather. The garden space can be enjoyed as there is a table and comfortable seating for dining outside. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet, underfloor heating, heated towel rail and a hair drier located in the airing cupboard. Upstairs, you'll discover the original wide floorboards of this 1840's character cottage as well as the lovely exposed beams in the warm and restful bedroom and dressing room (come study). You may even hear the owls hooting at night! For exploring on your doorstep you have historic Penryn town, Enys Gardens of bluebell fame. For days out by car, bus, train you have the glorious sea and sandy beaches of Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives, or take a ferry to St Mawes!

I started my little business in August 2017, I've slowly expanded over the years. I now have 4 holiday homes i look after and about 30 homes myself and my staff clean. For exploring on your doorstep you have historic Penryn town, Enys Gardens of bluebell fame. For days out by car, bus, train you have the glorious sea and sandy beaches of Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives, or perhaps take a ferry from Falmouth to St Mawes! The National Trust property Trelissick Gardens is close by and a car ferry can be taken to the Roseland Peninsular.
