Rivulet Cottage nestling in the heart of the award winning market town of Pateley Bridge rests peacefully within its own courtyard, providing guests with direct level access to the High Street through an iconic Yorkshire stone cobbled archway. Forming the ground floor of a 300 year old mill, Rivulet Cottage includes a large living with a feature effect fire, freesat tv with Netfix access and Wifi; separate dining area; modern bathroom with a large walk in shower, fully kitted kitchen, double bedroom. Drying facilities. Rivulet Cottage guests also have access to private courtyard garden and outdoor seating area. Entrance to Rivulet Cottage is through a narrow archway opening into a cobbled courtyard with provision for cycle storage and motorcycle parking. Come and stay with us in a historic building in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Guest also have access to hosts elevated terrace with views across Nidderdale.
Liz and I live above Rivulet Cottage in an old mill which has taken us three years to renovate. Come and stay with us and enjoy a historic Yorkshire building in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Pateley Bridge sits in the area of outstanding natural beauty that is Nidderdale. Walks right from our front door will take you to acknowledged beauty spots including Brimham Rocks, Coldstone Cut and Yorke's Folly. Long distance walking trails that pass through Pateley Bridge include the 53 mile Nidderdale Way, 38 mile six Dales Trail linking Otley and Middleham. For cyclists the 215 miles Trans Pennine Trail passes through Pateley Bridge also as does the Tour de Yorkshire cycle route with the infamous Greenhow hill climb starting direct from the door. Within a 10 minute drive will see you at Fountains Abbey, How Stean Gorge and Stump Cross Caverns. A little further afield is the All Creatures Great and Small village of Grassington, Masham - home to Theakston's Brewery and the famous spa town of Harrogate with Betty's tea shop.
