The property started life around 1750 as two adjacent cottages, it spent time as the village inn before being carefully converted to offer comfortable accommodation for up to four people in two bedrooms. It is ideal for couples or families who want a peaceful base from which to explore the countryside and coast of North Wales as well as Snowdonia National Park. Bontnewydd is on the border of Denbighshire and Conwy. It is surrounded by gorgeous countryside and is only a few miles from the coast. It's an excellent destination for people who enjoy being active as there is no outdoor setting more fun to explore than North Wales, with its amazing beaches and spectacular mountain ranges. Walking is a simple way to appreciate the plethora of natural beauty with favourite local paths, including the Pilgrims Way which starts in Holywell making its way to Bardsey Island. Alternatively, give your feet a break and explore on a mountain bike. The Gwydir Mawr Trail is 25km of unadulterated joy, while the mountain bike routes at Betws-y-Coed are only around 20 miles away.
