Coleford is a small town and considered capital of the Forest It has a Tourist information shop, a town community building inc library called (The Main Place) a cinema, several pubs, micro pub and piano bar, fabulous Deli , great Italian Restaurant, two Indian Restaurants and one more takeaway. two Chinese takeaways two chippies. Large Co-op, Lidl, Tesco metro.Two great bakeries, chemists and various small independent shops. The deep Forest is never more than 5 or10 minutes drive in any direction. There are masses of attractions for all ages to enjoy in and around the area. Not forgetting of course a pottery run by yours truly. The nearest railway station for national connections is in Lydney (20mins away) Park outside Reckless House for one hour but 50 meters on up the road all day . Reckless also have a private parking slot at rear of property for guests at their own risk.
