This place is just beautiful - set in the most gorgeous grounds, decorated and furnished beautifully, a great hot tub and outside space - it was perfect for a get-together with friends. The hosts were available as soon as we had an issue with the lights - got back to me within minutes of texting, and the problem was sorted quickly. Loved being on a National Trust farm which had walks from the doorstep to the river Usk. Even managed a quick swim! Friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Perfect if you like the countryside, and less than 15 minutes into Abergavenny. Shops at Raglan 5 minutes if self catering and not eating out. Would definitely stay again.

I was attending a funeral and the staff were very accommodating letting my friend and I check in early. Free parking just around the corner and a great location to where the wake was, so all in all it was very convenient. The breakfast was yummy and the staff were very pleasant.
Pomegranate House is a self catering apartment but the hosts leave items for breakfast such as cereal, bread and jam, coffee, tea and milk which is a nice, welcoming touch. The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped. I stayed here five years ago when visiting England from Canada and was pleased it was available when I visited England and the Forest of Dean again this year.
