We are a stones throw from the centre of the historic town of Lewes, there are numerous places of interest including Lewes castle, Anne of Cleves house and Priory ruins ,Glyndebourne Opera house is 3 miles away, being in the the National Park there are many fantastic walks to enjoy, in the town centre are an eclectic mix of traditional ale houses and pubs, there are also many restaurants including choice of Indian ,Chinese, Thai, Pizzerias and French , i personally would visit one of the pubs to sample the excellent food on offer, the Depot cinema has several screens for rainy afternoons. The city of Brighton is 7 miles away, The Palace pier is a great place to visit with its funfair and fish and chips, if you are looking for a cultural expierience the Brighton Pavilion and the Theatre Royal are just off the seafront. Travelling east towards Seaford the iconic and spectacular seven sisters can be seen from Hope gap, further eastwards Eastbourne offers an interesting day out with much to see.
