Firstly the kitchen, with ample worktop space, American style fridge, large hob and breakfast bar there is enough space and equipment for even the most demanding chef! The open plan design makes preparing a light lunch or full evening meal a breeze and you won't miss out on all the family fun. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and the sitting area is the perfect space for a relaxing evening in front of the TV after a full day exploring everything our beautiful region has to offer. The spacious layout, comfortable sofa and multiple seating options also mean there is plenty of room for family games night! The large glass wall and sliding patio doors make the most of the simply stunning views out to the hills and countryside beyond. Move through the hallway to find a spacious double bedroom with super comfortable bed, large walk in wardrobe and Smart TV, this room also boasts it's own en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and is also a good size room with hanging rail for clothes storage. The main bathroom has both a bath and shower and is the ideal spot for a long soak after a day walking in our beautiful countryside. Guests 5 & 6 would sleep on the surprisingly comfortable double sofa bed in the main sitting area. The sitting room patio doors open out to a large decking area that spans the width and length of the lodge. Dalbeattie Forest is one of the 7stanes cycling trails and in all there are over 17km of cycling trails linking Dalbeattie to Colvend, Sandyhills and Kippford. Kippford has two fantastic restaurants at local hotels The Mariner & The Anchor which offer a wide menu from traditional pub food to seafood specials.
