Jen and Jay run Owl House & Fig Tree Apartment. We have both travelled extensively so we know the benefit of having somewhere comfortable and homely to stay after a long tiring journey. That's why we created the property to reflect the best of it's period charm whilst adding modern comforts. We cater for people who wish to have somewhere that they can relax and start to soak up the slower Cornish pace. We offer plenty of books and leaflets of ideas of places to visit and we are happy to chat though your plans; in fact we love hearing about our guest's experiences. We have done a lot of exploring off the beaten track in Cornwall when kayaking so if you are looking for somewhere a little different then we may be able to help!

OWL HOUSE prides itself on the informal mix of period character and individual rooms. Rooms are spacious and come equipped with towels, linen, tea & coffee, hairdryer, free Wifi and off road parking. We must state that we run as a small, self-catering guest house and private full house rental property; guests use a self check in system to have independence whilst staying. Our guest kitchen is popular as it has all the facilities that you would expect and a dining area. If renting the full house you have a large living room to use. Some rooms have an en suite or separate private bathroom, others share a bathroom. FIG TREE APARTMENT The apartment has 3 bedrooms and is in the basement annex of the property, access via external stairs. It is self contained with a private patio. We are a five minute walk from Redruth train station and a 5-10 minute walk from town. Locally, the property is on a leafy, desirable residential street with a fish and chip shop and a restaurant within a 3 minute walk. The guest house is located a five minute walk from Redruth train station. We are close to the town centre shops (an 8 minute walk) on a desirable residential street. The nearest local convenience shop is a 5 minute walk. There is a fish and chip shop and a restaurant a couple of minutes walk away. The town centre offers a range of food options and a small cinema. There is a park a 5 minute walk away.
